Another false eye lash question. . .
Okay, yesterday I wore some really amazing false eye lashes for Halloween. I ahven;t actually worn falsies for about 6 months. Anyway, I wore them for about 10 hours - two gigs, driving time and being stuck in Hollyweird because my car was blocked in - and this morning I woke up with puffy upper eyelids.
Now the obvious answer is that this was my adhesive. This is the regula store bought adhesive which I believe is latex based. So the question is 1) could the puffiness be because of the adhesive, 2) the length of time I wore the eyelashes, 3) the fact that the adhesive is 'old', or 4) a combo of the above and I should find different adhesive?
Okay, I am rambling. I spent most of yesterday in huge crowds of people. Very energy draining. This is why I limit my trips to Vegas.

Yes.

Try the It Stays! water-based/removeable adhesive. Works beautifully and moves with the skin.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. Where is the best place to buy It Stays! ?
Also, I have to highly recommend Red Cherry eyelashes. I bought mine in Little Tokyo for $1 a pair and they went on easily, formed to my lid well and stayed on!

Re: Another false eye lash question. . .
I get this problem when I use lashes from Shu Umera. I always use the same lash adhesive so I think I react to the adhesive that attaches the lashes to the inside of the box. Shame because they have such nice ones but my eyes water like sieves for 2 days. Now I just stick to MAC and I'm fine.

Hi! First of all..VEGAS? You were here?? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I am allergic to all glue except one! I have the same reaction and have been to the dermatologist and this is what she said also. I only can use the glue that comes in Maybelline lashes...they come with a full tube! The lashes are very sparse...at least for me...I just buy for the glue.
OK..next time in Vegas....find me!!!
Take care puffy eyed girl!
