No Cleavage
Hi all, I need your help. I am going to dance for a wedding and they don't want me to show any cleavage. Shoulders are OK. I don't have the budget to buy another costume. Any suggestions on how I can wear my existing bra, without showing cleavage? Thank you so much for your time in advance.

Re: No Cleavage
Add lycra or velvet between the cups, you could then wrap it around your waist from the bra to belt/skirt.

Re: No Cleavage
maybe get a narrow length of chiffon like a longish scarf, twist it around on one bra strap and let the end drape over your back, slant it across the bra cups, and tuck the other end through the bra and let the end hang down your side. You would need to pin the chiffon in a few places so it stayed there, you could soft pleat the chiffon as well. Hope that makes sense. The chiffon insert would be on angle if you can imagine that in your minds eye.

Re: No Cleavage
Hi, do you have an email address to which I can send a video. I saw a dancer do something really neat and probably easily removable with a pair of wrist bands over her bra top. :)

Re: No Cleavage
Can you wear your bra over the top of a more modest choli/vest type top? perhaps a velvet one.

Capezio Dance Brands Online
Wear one of these spandex sleeves and tops under the bra, it works well for coverage, and doesn't make the bra look strange.

Re: No Cleavage
One of my first costumes had a "modesty panel' which was chiffon between the cups and swags a beads over it. It worked nicely.

Re: No Cleavage
Get a new pair of fishnet panyhose, cut off the feet, cut a hole in the crotch large enough for your head to go through. Put them on like a t-shirt under your bra. I've mostly seen tribal dancers do this but it's a cheap possible solution.
