    It would probably work, but the Danskin pros are super tough, really strong and don't rip or tear no matter what, it seems.

    I'm a little dyslexic or something, I've been known to sew them on backwards, so that they won't hook. Then have to rip them out and start over...cr.:

    Someone here on bhuz shared a trick for sewing on the hooks when your bra base is completely covered with sequins and beads - put a button on top of the sequins and put the foot of your hook on top of the button, and sew through the button holes. Much easier.

    That was me and I was introduced to it via a vintage Pharaonics belt which had sculpted beading and fabric. It also works well to help preserve the beads so they are less likely to get damaged when you hook your belt.
