Thread: Help me find a cheap UBDC!

A friend of mine is putting on an "Ugly Bedlah Hafla" next month, where there will be a prize awarded for the most hideous bra and belt set. Since I am the pits at making anything for myself, I was hoping to pick up a cheap Cairo Airport Special on Ebay - dinner plate cups, nipple details, tassles/crassles/assles, barfy color schemes, etc. But there is sooooo much stuff to wade through on there.

I really do want a bra and belt, because I don't think it will count if I do a butterfly top or hip scarf. And since this is just for a laugh I'm really looking to spend no more than $40. Does anyone have any ideas or tips on where to look for UBDCs? Or maybe you have one hiding in your closet that you'd let go for cheap?

Just glue some cheap coins and fabric trim to an uncovered Vicky's Secret bra, wear a hip scarf, and bust out your best broomstick skirt. And voila! Instant nippletassler. ..g.:

Otherwise, just hot glue some trim from Wal-Mart on a regular bra. Wear a hip scarf that doesn't match.

I have a broom skirt I had attached sequins to....it's newbie ugly and i have a non matching blue wrap top somewhere that "went" with it.....

I appreciate all the suggestions - but the idea is not to wear a suzy nippletassles/clueless beginner costume, but wear an actual bra and belt set that is eyeball searingly bad.

Any of these would hands down win an ugly bedlah contest, but they're outragously expensive.

My personal favorite is the yellow and copper butterfly number on the bottom left. It's like a trainwreck. Can't look away.

haha i really hope you win the action on the lavender one. with that...um...headdress?...you'll look like the bellydance-pope (this has been disgussed on a previous thread i think)

oh by the way (and i know at least one person here will hate me for this) i think a ridiculously large percentage of the raqia hassan costumes are UBDCs (and overpriced ones at that!)

oh, the blue spiral costume is so "cheeky"! Sorry, had to. I actually like the crazy geometric one! It's odd but endearing.
