Hi ladies, I love all the strands and tassels on BELLA skirts. I make my own costumes and would love to know how to make strands and tassels like these ones:

I think it is out of print, but Simplicity used to have a pattern for ballroom costumes where the salsa dress variation had similar streamers: Salsa Dress Dancer SEWING PATTERN Simplicity 4312 by OhSewCharming. As people in the skirt thread have already discussed, the look is often achieved by cutting spirals out of circles of fabric. The length and width of the streamers are controlled by varying the diameters of the circles and how dense the spiraling is.
