Help with choosing a custom bella colour!
I want to order a coin bella similar to this as my first bella (I'm an eman girl):
Blue and Orange Velvet Bella
But I have no clue about colour! What are your favourite bella shades? I'd love some recommendations - I'm pale with pinky toned skin and almost black hair. I suit clear, bright jewel tones (not warm tones like orange and yellow, or pastels like pink/mint/lilac). So maybe purple, royal, red, emerald, petrol, forest? My current costume shades are white, turquoise, ice blue, nude and aubergine, with a gold lame on the way.

Re: Help with choosing a custom bella colour!
advice a friend of mine once gave me: look on internet, in magazines, in the street, at people with similar colorings to you, and check out the colors they are wearing. figure out if you like those colors/combinations on them (or not), it will help you know what colors will look good on you. then, out of the colors/combos that work on your color type, pick the ones that appeal to you mentally. (for ex, i'm often told i could wear red, but that color doesn't appeal to me mentally, so i very very rarely wear it). also, don't be afraid to try out things you're not used to, if they can work for you, it feels strange wearing a color you're not used to but sometimes you learn to love it :)

Re: Help with choosing a custom bella colour!
I'm OK with choosing color in clothes etc, and even in sleek lycra costumes, but because this is so different, I'm at a loss! I think it's the chiffon that is confusing me - dancers in my area tend to wear the egyptian designers more, so I have zero experience of seeing high end chiffon/fringe/coin costumes in the flesh! And I really don't want to make a costly mistake...

I'm not your coloration (olive with dark brown hair), but my initial inclinations (keeping your coloration and the costume in mind) would be the purple, royal blue, red or emerald. That is a fabulous costume and any one of those colors should really *pop* on you (not that the other colors you mention wouldn't, but I like the brights/jewel tones).

Wine color with fuchsia accents (like a fuchsia underskirt and a few beaded accents) and silver coins would be to die for with this costume. And from the sounds of it would really suit your coloring.

ooooooh i like what shems came up with.
any combination of the jewel tones you mentioned would also work you could always use the POP color in the chiffon part.

I have a navy blue velvet one with a bright aqua underskirt in chiffon. Accents are teal and evening blue. Love it! Same coloring as you.

dark chocolate with teal and silver coins would be really cool too.

Man, I just got lost in that gallery of fabulous costumes! Every one is just wow.
I wish I had your problem - trying to choose WHICH color Bella to order, LOL! Best of luck with that. I think the wine and fuschia sounds awesome, I like to wear "party" colors when I dance.

Re: Help with choosing a custom bella colour!
Sounds like we have similar coloring (although I fake-tan to get rid of the more pinky complexion)...jewel tones are definately my favorite (they look great on pretty much everyone, so your resale value down the road will be good)...Love the wine/fuscia suggestion from Shems! Bella also has beautiful blues, purples, reds, and greens. I just received an olive green that I LOVE. I think forest green would be stunning with either silver or gold coins :)
(Just my two cents after seeing what colors you already own)
