Thread: I'm a believer

In the Great Loop, that is.

I didn't think I wanted one because everyone else does. But, my, oh, my, is it absolutely perfect. I bought a purple one yesterday at the Belly Dance Store when I went there with Ravena.

I also bought the gold Arabian Flora Pharaonics which is mind-numbingly beautiful. There was a very nice Mumtaz that did not go home with me, but I'm still thinking about it.

It was so worth driving 5.5 hours yesterday.

I miss my Great Loop! I didn't get one for a while because of the same thought - saw them everywhere - but the style is so flattering that I didn't care.

The Arabian Flora style has the dramatic sleeve that comes up onto the neck, right?

Sandra, both those costumes were gorgeous on you and I'm so glad you got them. But the brown one???? Soooo stunning, too. Rich color, perfect fit.

I dont need to hear any more about Great Loops! The bellydance store has one I want right now. . . and it gets harder to resist everyday!

I don't know how many they have, but it is WAY more than what is shown on the website. There are shelves organized by size, boxes with some that haven't been unpacked...it is Great Loops Heaven!

I've already decided that my first REAL costume/bedlah will be a gold Great Loop. They are so beautiful.... not an entry-level bedlah by any means, but just as versatile.

I emailed pictures to my husband (in Germany right now) but they show how messy my dance room is!!! I need to take more.

I will be picking up my Silver Great Loop this weekend! My wonderful BF said he will get me that as a "stocking stuffer because a pot belly pig wont fit in the stocking". LOL

(I have NO idea where the pig thing came from, but that's exactly what he sent in the email. LOL)

YIPPEE! :-) Now I am plotting the construction of some skirts from chiffon I already have and possibly ordering a trumpet skirt from L Rose. :-)
