Thread: Stretchy dresses

Where's a good place to get stretchy beledi or saidi dresses? Are the ones on Dahlal stretchy, and if so, how much do they stretch to conform?

I recently got the Delta Dream Pharonics design:

I actually purchased it in blue from bellydancestore.com - it was slightly cheaper there.
The fabric is fabulously shiny and stretchy :) It's a great design, too, as it's two (or more costumes) in one! Very whimsical design/details.

Also, I've seen a few Eman beledi dresses that were very form-fitting and beautiful.

The one's on the bellydancestore are very stretchy. I got this one for a little less then 100 bucks.

I needed to take it in a bit to make it fit but it's very stretchy and flattering.

You may also want to try to call DeeDee at Little Egypt (Little Egypt Home Page). THey are located here in Dallas and I recently saw her merchandise and has a ton of cool/different beledi dresses. I thought about buying one myself! Thier online store isn't updated but if you call she could probably send you pictures!

The outfit is gorgeous and so is the photo. Tanya you look fantastic!

One thing to be aware of with the lycra stretch dresses, if you sweat copiously in them, wash them immediately. Otherwise they may always smell sweaty.
