    Sequin facelift

I am in the process of trying to clean/fix up a pharonics costume. I have given the arm sleeves and headband a soak first and have found that the colouring has come off leaving the blue sequins silver. So Im not going to soak the Bra and Belt. Any advice for recolouring sequins-Im not really good with a needle so replacing the sequins is not really an option. Any help from some of you experienced seamstresses??,f::,f::,f::

I did a similar project on a pink pharonics with blue sequins that had lost their color. I'm afraid the only way I know is to either cut off the old ones and sew on new ones, or just lay a new sequin on top of the old one and sew it in place.

Try a permanent marker in the color you need. Certainly easier and faster than replacing them.

I'd just convince myself that I really wanted silver all along and clean the bedlah too!

I was thinking Sharpies too... But, I'd be afraid of accidentally coloring the fabric because I’m clumsy.

hmmmm...I could try marker.....Im pretty dissapointed as to the condition I recieved this costume. So sad about it so try to salvage what I can. I paid good money for it too:( Lots of the larger crystals were missing, sequins lost and discoloured, lining really dirty and am having to send away to be replaced. The skirt was stained and has rips in it...Its going to cost me over $100 just to get it up to scratch and wearable. So sad.... :(

Oh, that is disappointing. I've had that happen to me before. Even when I was specific about asking questions as to wear and tear. I feel your pain, dance sista.
