Thread: Anyone have an all silver (or totally one color) Bella?

I need a silver bra/belt set for troupe costuming purposes. Despite having a thread up in the "ISO" forum since August, I have been looking for months and have been unable to find a silver bra/belt set to suit my size and tastes. So I am thinking maybe it's time to escalate the situation and send an inquiry to Bella. ..g.:

Thing is, I don't think I've ever seen an all silver Bella, let alone an all silver Bella bra/belt set. I don't think I've ever seen a Bella all in one color, at least not that I remember. Does she do such a thing? I really would want it to be all silver, no other colors in the sequins or beading. An AB finish on the crystals, sequins, or fabric would be A-OK (and even preferred).

I am thinking something like the gold "liquid metal" lycra used in this Bella, but off course in silver. Has anyone ever seen this fabric in silver on a Bella?



Would I have to pay dearly for such a specific costume request? Like I said, I'm a custom Bella virgin... ..l;,

On a sort-of related note, how good is Bella's English? If I am inquiring about a custom order, I want to make very sure that my desires are understood. Would I be better off having one of my coworkers from Turkey write the e-mail for me?

i think thalia has an all silver bella bra and belt set. i believe she got it here on bhuz, so it does exist!

I'm sure you could order a custom Bella in all one color, and I believe she also tries to work within you budget :) I've never ordered from her (yet!) but I understand she's very accommodating and really works with you to create the costume YOU want :)

You can give Bella a price range. I bet she'd be able to make a really nice one for $500, though it won't have many stones or cut-outs on it. Still, it'll be a great costume.

i dont see y bella couldnt create what u wanted..i mean, youre giving her money to make it..
and the few times that i contacted her through email just to get price quotes and whatnot, her english was perfect

when i went to her store in october she had several one-color costumes available, there's no reason why it would be a problem at all :)

Im waiting on an all Gold set. When I put in the order I asked for gold only-Ill let you know how it turns out :) I dont see any reason why she wouldnt do an all silver-I would think it would be less work for her :)

That really makes me want to order both a silver and a gold... LOL... I really prefer gold, but I need the silver for troupe stuff. Do I remember correctly that if you order more than one costume, she'll usually give you a little bit of a price break?

Kina, thank you, that would be so helpful if you wouldn't mind sharing a photo! When I see a Bella I love, I know it, but I've never seen an all silver one so I'm kind of at a loss for trying to figure out what I might like to ask for.

I thought I remembered hearing that, but I'm asking if someone can confirm it because it is entirely possible that it is just wishful thinking on my part, LOL. Perhaps it was only if someone bought three or more costumes at the same time? I can't remember. Anyone know for sure?

all silver, all gold, all blue, all red just bra and belt no skirt set used to be the cheapest costumes they had...

i'll dig up some of my vintage pics if i have the time ;-) i really should scan those in
