Yes...you can iron them on a lower setting and keep the iron moving. I have refined my fruit method. Wet the cups completely in the sink. Strap the bra around a narrow backed chair so that the cups are in a natural position. Put in 2 cereal bowls or hard balls so that the cups are as full as possible. Now stuff the gaps in the bra cups with clean dish towels or face towels and form into a natural look and let dry overnight near a mild heat source.

Depends on what they're made of and how badly they're squashed...

Yes, on a low setting. If you are concerned, use a pressing cloth. If the temp is low enough, scorching shouldn't be a problem, but sometimes lightweight synthetics like loose-weave chiffons and costume satins can snag or the weave will get knocked out of line during the pressing process. If spots are particularly wrinkled, I've found it's better to use a little mist of water (spray bottle filled with tap water) on the pressing cloth and go slowly and gently than to press harder or increase the heat.

Edited to add...if it's one of those older skirts with sequins, you'll need to iron around them. Sequins can warp even on pretty low heat. I don't have any experience using a steamer on one of those skirts, but I suppose it would work if you were careful. I think in the old days, people just used the hang-in-a-steamy-bathroom method. Personally, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to ironing and use a lot of Downy Wrinkle Releaser in my everyday life, but I'd be really leery of using that on a costume for fear that it might chemically react with the embellishments.
