Thread: Post pictures of your new Bella's here. We want to see them!

When I'm putting the bra on I pre-hook the straps (straps and closure in front). Then spin it around, put my arms in through the straps, and it's good to go. Sometimes I have to wiggle around a bit and untwist a strap but they always stay put.

I did a trade for this Bella, I don't think its ever been danced in. Fits perfectly and will be making its debut tomorrow night. The cute black and white dog is Leila, she wanted to know why I was so sparkly.

- By any chance....can anyone tell me how they get into their Bella bras (without assistance from another person) that wear them criss-cross in the back (vs. changing to halter or regular bra)?? I love the look and feel of the criss-cross but without help from someone it's just difficult.

Ha! I've asked this same question for a long time, if I'm by myself before a gig, I have to go with another costume. Seriously, if anyone has a good answer, I'd love to hear it.

i actually gave an answer on that thread that poped up recently.

1 way: leave the x's longer then u normally would...hook them then pin them togehter higher up by the back of the neck for lift. if u leave the pin in its easier to get on next time

2nd: kneel and support your chest against a bed/chair in the bra and then that leaves in plae as u reach around back to hook em.

i use some combo of the above

Thanks ladies! I'm thrilled to have a princessy Bella again and a pink that finally fits and looks good.

I had an email from Bella this morning :) they will be starting my orders and advising prices nnext week (eeeppp! Damn my expensive taste!!)

That teal is stunning. It looks like a high center opening on the skirt and is the skirt see through?

Gorgeous!!!!! Love the 2 contrasting colours :) Im partial to Bellas with more that one complementing colour!

I sew the fixed end of the shoulder straps onto the back straps in a criss-cross , and put the hooks on the front of the straps with the eye in the bra cup. Then your hooking them in from the front, it's a lot easier.

I had an email from Bella this morning :) My costumes will be ready in 3 weeks :) Ill have some new sparklies to share soon :)

I sew the fixed end of the shoulder straps onto the back straps in a criss-cross , and put the hooks on the front of the straps with the eye in the bra cup. Then your hooking them in from the front, it's a lot easier.

I don't have a bella but I do a similar thing with my cross strap costumes, but I put the eye on the strap and the hook in the cup, only because the hook sticks up more....and I use 2 hooks/eyes per cup- one about an inch down in the cup and one right along the top edge. I'm too paranoid to only use 1!

I do exactly the same! I don't like the look of peeking ends on the back and it's much easier to close. Unfortunately the beading is often done after sewing the straps to the bra so you have to redo a bit of the beadwork after snipping off the straps from the front.

Like new Bella I've got from a French bellydancer. I spent one month eyeing on it but I was afraid that orange was too bright and at the end, I bought it and I am totally in love

The work is amazing, mix of color wonderful, orange yellow red with a lot of stones flower appliques, ....
