    Fake eyelashes and contacts

    Hi Everyone!

So I finally was able to get my lashes to stay put and look right, but as soon as I had them on my eyes started blinking a lot more than normal, and my contacts felt really dry....probably from the blinking. Is it the glue? Is there glue out there for sensitive eyes?

Any recommendations? Does this happen to anyone else?

I am allergic to all glue except...Maybelline...that comes in a package with very small lashes...the glue is worth it! It is a full tube...
    Good luck

I wear contacts and have no problem with fake eyelashes. Maybe you are sensitive to the glue

Eyes tend to get dry after having applied false lashes b/c we have to keep the eye open for so long while putting them on. Also, the lids have to work a tad harder b/c they are heavier. It could just be the increased amount of air to which the eyeball is subjected (which could also include glue fumes). Seriously, if you had glue IN your eye, you would be much more uncomfortable.
If you are reacting to latex, try a water-based glue, such as It Stays!

Oh good point about the eye being open longer! I wonder which it was now...the latex glue or the air in the eye...hmmm. I do liek the look though so going to keep trying!

    Thanks so much!
