"that" dress: need a search term!
Hey bhuzzers... I'm thinking about making one of these dresses due to a great deal I got on a big bag of fringe beads. But I want to look at some pictures of them for reference. My problem: don't know what they are called!!!
These dresses are usually made out of 4-way stretch lycra, often in bright colors, and are often sleeveless. They are decorated all over with long strands of fringe so they report every movement.
Can anyone tell me what these are called so I can search for pictures of them? Thanks!

I call them flapper dresses - not sure if that would be the correct term.

Weren't they called the Magic Stretch Dress on Dahlal? I used to have one of these, from a different maker, and I loved it until I lost weight and it no longer fit me.
Yup, found it on Dahlal:
ED12
Magic Stretch Dress
$274.95
This form-fitting dress is made of a magic stretch material that expands to hug your curves. Hundreds of strands of beaded fringe give incredible movement to your shimmies. Stylish and sensuous, without being too revealing. A great choice for fuller figures.

I've seen them called "fringe(d) dresses," but sometimes they're just lumped in with "beledi dresses." The Bellydance Store has two styles with fringe and paillettes, and I found them under "Folkloric."
