Pearl Costumes
My big order of pearls just arrived in the mail today. I’m waiting for my Sugar Petals to come in, and then I can start creating! While I’m impatiently waiting, please share any photos you have of pearl costumes.

Re: Pearl Costumes
Hannah Nour in pearl bedlah. I wish we could see it better, but it looks relatively simple and smashingly elegant.
And dancing to music from The Nutcracker - how timely!

Re: Pearl Costumes
And, a bit off topic I know, there's something rather special about that skirt isn't there?

Three panel skirt with the bottom corners of the front panel tucked into the back of the belt. She is also wearing harem pants. And it looks like either she has a long jacket - Ghawazee style? - on which she has tied off in the back OR she has her veil looped over her shoulders and tied off in the back.
Back to your regularly scheduled thread. . .

My three year old son's comment: "I want her to come to our house some day, mom!" Love the video!

Re: Pearl Costumes
Here are several threads, as I went through the same phase. I never finished my costume, btw.

Re: Pearl Costumes
You've inspired me to try one now, too! I've just ordered some gold crushed velvet, and bought up big on pearls and iridescent cream sequins from my local bead shop. :)

This thread has inspired me to add pearls to my cab set I'm making.
