I don't want to tick Bella off...but
I ordered two costumes from her on oct 22nd... then emailed a few days later asking to add to my order with a certain budget. she said she could make the extra for $200 more than I budgeted, I said no thanks, I'll have to wait for now.
I haven't heard anything back since about the other 2 costumes, and I emailed her nearly 2 weeks ago asking when they would be ready.
Did I totally piss her off by telling her no on that additional costume? It has been nearly 9 weeks since I placed my order (mind you, I haven't paid yet, that comes when the costumes are done....)
suggestions? ideas?

Re: I don't want to tick Bella off...but
i've never actually delt with Bella, so i can;t be much help but i just wanted to say that it makes me happy when i see people who are aware of the fact that real people make these costumes and cloths, not robots. i see how lazy some people are about their home made costumes and i think that realization passed them by, that they don't realize humans are capable of making something that looks polished and pro.
anyway, if it were me i wouldn't be offended, you just changed your mind. but then i can't speak for her.

call her. I have never washed the phone that I used to call her to check on my costume

Yes, I agree i don't think you pissed her off either. Business is business. And like Kina said, it couldn't hurt to call...:)

Re: I don't want to tick Bella off...but
I would forward the previous email but preface it with something like
just wanted to clarify I still want the costumes mentioned in the previous email and hopefully a status update
International calls can be risky and expensive. I called Amira/Pharaonics several times, her step-son answered. She did not receive any of my 5 messages so when I finally spoke with her it was awkward. (I presumed she had received my messages and did not reply.) At least with email the intended recipient will actually be the one that reads it. Next would be the phone.

I'm wondering if there was some confusion and she thought you didn't want to place the order at all when you said no to the third one at the price she quoted?
I say call her... and I never call anybody!

I figure she's just very busy. There seems to have been a lot of folks that have had some issues with this wave of orders... I figure she's just a little behind? I was hoping to have it for a performance at the end of jan....I will wait another week and then ask again!

I sent her a request asking if I could pay for them now so they can be shipped when they're ready. she replied the next day saying that they're ready! wonderful!!
