Thread: Pharaonics Cup Sizes / US Equivalents?

I know there was a thread on this in the past but I can't find it in the search.
I know Pharaonics cup sizes go up to 9, but what are the equivalents? When I was at Rakassah, Audrena had cup examples and at the time, she said I was a #7 (which I've never seen on here for sale, so I really worry about resale value on that), but I think I've shrunk since then and if she hasn't ordered my costume yet by the time I call, I'm going to see if I can get a smaller size. But I don't know what the sizes are equivalent to. I was wearing about a 36F at the time, probably more like a 36E/DD now. Back when I was a 36D though, I was wearing a #3 cup. So I don't get how I could have gone up by 5 sizes in Pharaonics if I was only up by two cup sizes American? Do the shapes of the cups change?

I'm a 38d/36dd and I like #7's. How in the heck did you fit into a 3? Did you mean take two # 3 cups and sew them together? :P I'm JK.
I originally ordered a 5 but at Rak East I bought another cossie in a 7 and it fit much better. I guess it depends on the shape and how much cleavage you want?

Maybe the #3s were mislabelled, because they were some of the best fitting cups ever (usually cups are too small). Well, that was then - can't fit into them anymore even with a shoehorn.

Glad to hear that there are other #7s if I ever decide to sell!

Shoehorn? Teehee, never thought of that :) What length skirt do you need? I think you're taller than me...

The last one I ordered says "98cm".

I wear a 34D or DD and I like the way #4 or #5 fit. Although at the mo nothing fits! #6 are too big. #3 are too small.

I'm a 34/36DD with a little ribcage and I like a number 5.

I'm wearing a 36B/C bra size (I'm inbetween cup sizes), with a 29.5" underbust and I wear a #3 pharonics bra, and I can either pad a bit for extra lift or not.

When I was heavier, wearing a 36C/D bra, 32" underbust, with more armpit and back squishiness, I was wearing a #5 but padding it.

There is not going to be a simple one to one conversion factor because it is difficult to factor in how narrow or big your ribcage is, the acreage to depth size of your boobs, etc.

Nepenthe, I'll buy all your 7s if you order them with big enough hips! I think you don't see too many of them on the swap because once we get our hands (or whatevers) on them, we're very reluctant to part with them.

I am a 38DD/E. I'm 5'5" and relatively, not extremely, short-waisted. In terms of cup volume alone, an 8 is really the appropriate size for me, but the #8 cups are too tall and wide to look proportionate and feel comfortable on my torso. I buy 7s and add a little soft trim to the top if I need a more coverage.

Why don't you figure out the measurements that you think would work best for you, based on bras you already own, and post them here for comparison with Pharaonics bras whose cup sizes are known? For example, this is a #4

I'm a 38D/DD and I wear a solid 6. I can measure the two of mine that I have for you.

Hee. I wish we were! I think I'd need to take about 6" off my hips first, but a girl can dream....

Back when I was a 36D/DD, I wore a size 4 Pharaonics bra... When I was an average 38DD, I wore a size 5. (Andalee, I'm pretty sure the orange pharaonics is a size 5 bra cup). A size 6 fits me now, but it's not as complimentary on me as a size 5... I'm a really, really full 38DD.

I think you have to take into consideration your ribcage measurements as well. A 36DD and a 40DD will not wear the same cup size.

.... It's actually really weird for me because I can sometimes fit into smaller advertised cups depending upon the shape. I secretly think I'm like a 34FF or G, but it's hard to really find bras in that size!

wear the same as you (34DD), what cups fit you best? #4 or5? I don't like a lot af cleavage, so I need cups that fit really nicely....
Any advice?
