Thread: What Should I Do with the Eman I just Cut Up???

So I'm realizing the costume I just got is not the best fit on me. There is fabric that crosses over my belly from the bra to the skirt and I think it overwhelmes my petite figure and also forces me to wear the skirt higher than I would like to (see first pic). So I'd like to rework it. Which option do you prefer

option 1) the original
option 2) cross only one side and attach some fabric so it goes across my back to attach to the waist of the skirt behind
option 3) make an X up higher and have it attach at the back rather than to the skirt so I can wear it as low as I usually do
option 4) cross the fabric and attach into opposite cup
option 5) cut or tuck the fabric inside of the cups

Would love to hear your opinions and suggestions! Thanks

looks yummy to me! I would also like it with the extra fabric completely removed, though.

Whops! I just re-ordered the numbers cause I uploaded the wrong photo. So thats really option 2, right?

I like 2 and 5...

#5...you are so petite that the others seem to overwhelm you...and you are so beautiful that the minimalist designs are more than enough!

...and when you are ready to sell...keep me in mind! It's so pretty and I think your measurements are similar!

Options 2 and 5 are my favorite.

Interesting, a lot of 2's and 5's so far. I'm starting to feel reassured with the cuts I just made!!!

I prefer the last 2 pix. Either remove the straps or tuck it under the cups. I find the wide, bulky straps are a distraction from your cute waist.

I vote for #5.

ita #5. actually, probably best to remove the "extra fabric" instead of tucking it in the cups cause if its tucked in the cups, it might discolor with sweat. & use it to make accessories, for repairs, etc.

You're right! I'm going to make arm bands with the fabric

So happy I made the right decision!!!!!!!!!!

I vote for #5 also - although #3 looked "possible" also. #4 didn't do it for me.

I agree with those who chose option 5. I think you look best without too much bumph on the torso. Also, because you are both wee and possessed of a lot of hair, the bust-enhancing Eman bra plus all that extra fabric makes you look very top heavy.

Another vote for number 5.

I like the armband suggestion, another vote for 5.

(2 would be my second choice)

I also need clean lines with nothing hanging down, sticking up, or winding across my torso.

Fellow petite gal here: I'd go with #5 and make little arm bands or a head band with the extra fabric.
