Thread: buuurp...hair help needed

so i got impatient and just had my hair dyed again..all single color..love the color but want to do some special effects for new years

was thinking about getting something like this but in smaller chunks

and dyeing them an assortment of colors..reds, coppers, honey blond, then fastening them all over the head to create effects

tell me will this work? or will i have tiny visible barrettes all over my head

anyone know where to get clip ins like this but that are only thin strands?

I've never used multiple extensions, but I have used single sets of different colored (pink, purple, platinum) extensions for fun. I've had great luck with them. I tend to get compliments and people are pretty surprised when they learn that they're not my hair.

Maybe try it with one or two to see how you like it and without a huge $$ investment.

i suggest getting a long weft of human hair in a #613 shade (super bleached blond) cut them into little wefts, sew ends and dye to your desired color. after washing and drying, sew toupee clips onto the little pieces. if you will be dancing, use the x method of bobby pins to secure the "highlights" onto a slightly ratted, sprayed attachment spot.

this will look more natural than synthetics and you can style your whole head all together with hot tools

in my experience, human hair dyes much better than synthetics...but then i don't have your expert touch.
