Thread: Happy New Year!

I gave up making resolutions long ago, but always try to do something productive and positive on New Year's Day. Today, it's the cleaning of the sewing room and perhaps making some paper patterns for upcoming projects.

I'm also hoping to get a syllabus done for potential upcoming classes... but that may have to wait until tomorrow!

What about you ladies (and gents)?

I need to re-organize (or get rid) of my sewing room, that's on my list.

I organized my fabric stash last year into a 7' x 10' wall of bankers boxes. I love love love it when I empty one of those boxes. Today, the box filled with heavy muslin curtain fabric is going to hit the empty pile. Meanwhile, I am pulling and washing heavy-weight fabrics for Project Boss... my boss is jealous of the contractor teams in another building who all wear suits to work... I've decided to make myself several Turkish and turkestani jackets with 'normal' pants in matching colors... heh heh.... my translator must be a little broken (holds it up to ear and shakes it)...
