Thread: Advice Please!!! Keep or sell Bella!! Ok Keeping :)

Hi Ladies-
From my recent order I recieved a stunning purple/plum Bedlah set. I was hoping there would be much more Teal in it so it was very different from my Purple/Gold Bella.,f:: Im trying to work out wether or not I sell my new Plum one and order another colour. I cant really justify having 2 in my closet of similar colouring...but it is sooooo pretty-the cutouts on the belt are fabulous!!!
Advice ladies-keep the Plum or sell?? Pics below to compare....

I like the purple/gold better. And I think I've seen more pics of you in the full skirt style right? So maybe keep the mermaid skirt for variety. I also *love* those AB necklaces she's sewn on the purple/gold.

Who says you have to 'justify' having costumes of similar color? If they both look great on you, so what? There is no BD fashion police code that states you can have only one of each color.

Oh. My. Goodness. These are beautiful! If I were you, I would choose the one that fits me the best, or the one I feel/look best in, sell the other one, and buy one in the color I really want. But, if you don't need that other color right away, why not hold on to them both for a while? .w.:

Its a hard one-since there are aspects of both cossies I LOVE! I suppose there isnt any reason why I couldnt have 2 purples :) If I could I would have lots of green in my closet-I love Olive and Pistachio Colours.

Maybe I should sleep on it a few days and maybe wear it once at least and then decide???

I have such a hard time letting go of my Bellas :( My coset is literally overflowing! I can barely fit in my new ones! How sad and NAUGHTY is that!

I like the plum best. I say either keep it and sell the older one, or keep both! If you get sick of one later on, you can always sell it. Keep them both for now and dance at least once in the new one!

I love the new plum color! It is okay to have the same colors in your closet + they are different.

You could always give me the full chiffon skirt costume. I would gladly accept it. ;)

I think you should hold on to it for a while - dance in it and see which one you loooove the most. Then in a few months, if you feel like getting a new one, sell the one you don't absolutely adore the most ;)

the shapes are totally different. imo you should keep them both. they are equally stunning so they both win.

i also don't understand why some people don't keep multiples of colors if the style/shape are different.

These costumes are both very unique in their different styles. The purple has that vintage/classic style with the flowy skirt and the accessories. The new plum/gold has a modern feel to it. These costumes say completely different things and have different feels. I say keep them both if your in love with both of them. If you feel like the plum could use a little more teal accent colors, you could always put some beads in here and there.

If I *had* to choose one, I'd pick the bottom because I love mermaid skirts.

Heres what Ive tried (dont know why I dint think of it before) I tried to layer 2 differnt Arabesque skirts under the PLum skirt. A Teal and a Turq with Purple Accents. Looks quite good and brings out the small amount of Teal sequins in the belt too:

Holy crap, I want that turquoise with purple accents skirt!!! Ahem, I mean the pairing of the 2 arabesque skirts with the new Bella really works to bring out the teal accents you wanted to accentuate. Both Bellas are amazing and you should keep them. Or give them to me. Or keep them.

Thanks! I bought the Turq and Purple skirt from DAHLAL last year. It is really pretty! Im an Arabesque skirt junkie too :) Ive tried it with my Gold Arabesque as well and it looks awesome! I think I have to keep it now,r:;..l;,

Love the purple and turquoise accent one. Some day i will have a Bella.

Niiice. Love the purple with the teal skirt under it especially -- it really sparks the colors in the sequins!

I really love that teal with the purple.

Keep them both! They are totally different!!! And both are completely mouth watering!

How about a dark citrine green with the first set? That would give you another option with that one as well.

Mmmmmmm good idea! I love greens and purples together. I have a forrest green and a Moss Green Arabesque skirt on order that I have been waiting for for 4 months!!
