Spin-off: Adjusting your dress form
I got a singer dress form for Christmas. It's a little rickity, so I am still deciding whether or not I need to keep it. I had to use rubber bands to get it to stay my height.
Problem is the manual is the most unhelpful thing ever! Good gracious!
The first time I used a tape measure and adjusted the bust, upper hip and lower hip. Turns out they are all too big. The dials say my correct measurement, but it's not accurate for some reason. Also, my rib cage is way off.

So, here we go...
I've extended the torso length to the correct size (I had to let it out two inches). So does that make the top dial my waist or my upper hip? Or maybe my abdomen? If it's supposed to be my natural waist, there is no way I am ever going to get it to fit me.
Also, I am guessing I need to make the rib-cage fit me and then pad up the boobs if I want to?
Help, help, help!
