    Wavy hair extensions

Has anyone had experience with wavy hair clip-ons? Do they look relatively natural? My straight ones always blended well with my straight hair, but now that I'm wearing my natural waves again I'm curious to know whether I can still do clip-ons.

you can wave your extensions. you don't have to buy new ones. if they are human hair, just put some hot rollers in them, or a curling iron. if they are synthetic, set them on rollers.

I've tried the Jessica Simpson synthetic wavy ones and they didn't work for my waves - I felt that they'd be better for curled straight hair, than naturally wavy hair (if that makes sense!) I bought the straight ones in the end.

I have wavy extensions and they look incredibly natural as long as i curl some of my own hair! Go for it!

But in my experience they don't hold very well. At all. Most of them are chemically processed to make them pin straight.

I dampen mine liberally with salon formula setting gel, roll them with spiral rag rollers, let dry for a day or two, take out, and spray liberally with freezing hair spray. They start out looking like Shirley Temple curls and I am lucky if it is still barely wavy at all in 3 hrs.

Also, because most of the quality human hair extensions are Indian hair, they also have to be bleached and dyed to obtain med-light brown, blond, or red colors, so bottom line they've been chemically straightened AND colored so they will not stand up to repetitive heat styling.

I think it would be better to get a wavy set.
