Thread: Bella necklaces and arm thingys

I am slowly compiling a Franken-Bella from parts of all my favourite costumes, to send across in the hope Bella will make it for me in the next few months. BUT - I don't really want a necklace. Or the arm things with chiffon (arm cuffs, arm wraps and hand things are ok). Is that OK to say that I don't want a necklace and that I'm OK with her choosing the style of arm accessory, just no chiffon? Or do you thinkI should just get the necklace as I will fall in love with it if I see it in all it's sequin and crystal glory? It just isn't really my style, but there is always an argument for experimenting...

I don't think there's any harm going in either direction. If you don't like the necklaces, I would just say that it's an accessory you don't tend to wear. On the other hand, they come included and can help with the resale value of the costume - those that come with matching accessories are more desireable, IMO (since you don't HAVE to find your own

And in the past I've been specific about what type of arm accessories I've wanted with certain costumes with no problem :)

There are plenty of bellas out there with no chiffon fluff on the arm cuffs :-)

Will she give you a discounted price if you don't want the necklace, and chiffon armbands?

i AGREE ON INCLUDING THE NECKLACE AS bELLA WILL MATCH IT WITH THE OVERALL LOOK OF YOUR COSTUME-AND HELPS WITH RESALE. I always include a pic of the type of arm decorations I want. You can specify succh as: Gauntlets, Arm bands, sleevs attached to bra. Endless possibilities. Remember that you are customising you costume and you can ask for what ever you want :)

I snipped the seam to remove the chiffon on one of my bellas. The pieces are in a baggie ready to be reattached if I ever want them. Or want to sell.

Caution on the uber fabulous attached at the shoulder sleeves-beware of underarm ooze. I don't wear those sleeves because my moderately toned body still has enough soft flesh to push out from between the sleeves and the bra.
Looks great on some ladies, though!

..l;,I agree on that issue with the attached sleeves-I usually end up moving them down my arm a bit and loosening them down from the top where they attached to the bra.

Oh, I just love those long lace up arm thingys unfortunatly they cut into my tricept flab. Unsighly as heck!

I love those too, and the leg lace, but my legs are really not toned enough for them, sadly. I'm training to run a marathon, and I bet even by the time I do the run, my legs will still be too squashy for them!
