Making a Goddess Size Bra
I am attempting to make my first costume, since big boobalage bras are hard to come by. I have a large chest area that looks "barren" with regular straps.
Question; Does anyone have pics of a bra that has both regular and halter style straps? (I thought this would lend to extra support too
) any other ideas to flatter the chest area would be helpful.

There's a red one from Rising Stars called Loves Embrace in the new Dahlal newsletter.

Check out some of the costuming how-to books.
Flattering Costumes for Belly Dancers and Cabaret Bra and Belt by Dina Lydia both have loads of ideas and step by step instructions.
Dawn Devines book Costuming from the Hip is very good, I don't have Bedlah Baubles and Beads but I understand it's very good also.

Be very careful of halter-straps, because with a large chest you could really mess up your neck. Think about straps that cross in the back but put most of the weight on your shoulders where you can handle it. Make sure your straps are wide (and look proportional to your bra-cups)...
Also, think about making or looking for large neck-bling. Nothing makes the cleavage/chest look more like a huge barren space than too-delicate accessories.

I made crossed straps with those widish bands you use for waists.

Ozuma is right those halter straps can be downright dangerous.
Halter straps should be decorative only. You should be able to dance in the bra, halter straps completely untied, without problems.
X-backs are my favorite.
