Thread: Bob hairstyle for curly/wavy hair

So I have curly hair that tends to loose it's curl when it's longer and it turns more wavy. I also tend to get frizzy hair. I sweat like crazy and I can't perform in my natural hair because within minutes my hair is soaked. It's gross. I ALWAYS wear my hair up. People rarely see my real hair and if I don't have fake hair in, then my real hair is up in a clip or bun. So, I'm thinking of cutting it into a Bob style. I like the idea of it being one of those shorter in the back kind of Bob's but I'm not sure what this will look like since my hair is curly. I just need enough hair to get a little pony tail to clip on my fake hair. I'm not afraid of hating it because it's hair after all and it grows. I don't want to look like a soccer Mom. I suppose I should add that I am a curvy girl as well. I have a fuller face and I tend to get a double chin look when I smile. (I hate that). So with all this info, what do you think? Should I go for it? Do you have this style of hair? Can you point me to any pictures?

I just cut mine shoulder length and though I don't have curly hair I do have a natural wave. If you cut your hair this length it wil shorten because of your natural curl anyway. When I curl mine it goes into a curly 1940's style bob. So do a little first and then if you don't like it you can always go shorter.
