    Resources for coins?

Does anyone have a good resource for coins other than Costless? I haven't found any other seller of pre drilled coins, but maybe I'm not searching the right words? I've found plenty of silver coins, but I'm looking for brass/gold finish. Copper is a possibility as well.

Buy a bag of junk coins on E-bay. Get a drill press and a good vise. Promise hubby anything he wants for drilling said coins. . .

Missbellydance.com sells loose costume coins Belly Dance Costumes | Harem Pants | Belly Dance Hip Scarf. There are a couple of threads about the quality of their costumes and hip scarves on the Vendor board, but I'm not sure they would be particularly relevant to a sack of tinky, stamped aluminum.

yah, Ive seen it's cheaper to drill your own but didn't know if really wanted to get into doing that.

Tourbeau, I was hoping to find actual coins - gold/brass- even though they'll be heavier.

Belly Dance Costume Coins Bells & Embeleshments

Brass, gold and silver here, if you're talking the imitation ones.

Sorry, I didn't read well enough!

(BTW I did not misspell "embellishments")

Unfortunately Saroyan has discontinued all their coins except the round copper ones.

forgot...drilling ...we found silly putty is wonderful .if you have a handy person in your life, have a "board of holes" made...pre drilled holes the size of each coin in wood.

    Re: Resources for coins?

when I made my coin costumes, I bought a big lot of coins off ebay. 1000 coins for just under $200. I made 2 costumes with them so far. My husband drilled the holes for the first one, and I did the second. It is painstaking, saves money.

I would definitely buy buy on ebay again.
