Layering Circle Skirts
I have a crazy black and white print chiffon circle skirt (1circle in back, 1/4 in front) and a white chiffon skirt (1 circle in back, 1/2 circle in front). I plan on wearing the black and white over the white and I'm thinking of buying a satin circle skirt to wear underneath it from L Rose to make it less transparent for stage performances.
Should I get the regular or the professional? I'm leaning toward the regular, but I don't know if it will look funny having a 'smaller' skirt under two large ones or if you would even notice.
FYI I'm looking at the copper satin, with no slits, to match my copper bedlah

The professional in satin is bulky. Good by itself but not as a first layer. Get a thick opaque poly crepe.

I layer a 1/2 and 1/2 under a 1/2 and a full. Works perfectly. Don't put satin under chiffon skirts - only over. It won't look right. Instead just put a second layer of white chiffon - so two solid chiffon circle skirts under the pattern one *if* it's really necessary. Depending on the style of the belt you can probably look great with two chiffon skirts.

Re: Layering Circle Skirts
I don't like satin for circle skirts: too heavy, too bulky. Chiffon is so much better, there are different kinds, for example silkier, more shimmery, 2 tones, etc. Some of these can move beautifully.
I would try to stick with chiffon only.
