Burn-out Velvet costumes - how is the skirt lined?

If you have owned a burn-out velvet costume (like the Eman/Hoda styles we've seen in the past few years), how much of the skirt was lined?

I have not owned a burn-out velvet costume, but I have tried one on, and it was not lined at all. There was so much beading/embellishment around the hip/crotch/behind area that you could no longer see through the fabric in those areas. Wearing a pair of flesh color tights underneath would have been sufficient coverage.

I have a burnout Eman Zaki dress and it is not lined. It does have a separate belt, however, that is a wide ruched style with drape on one side and the dress has a generous heavy mesh modesty panel in the slit. The skirt is rather full so it really doesn't show anything. but you could always make a nude mesh slip to sew inside the skirt or wear boyshorts or Spanx.

I have a purple one- it has black boyshorts but no lining. Looks fine IMO.

    I've seen/tried on a few. Most commonly I've seen
Eman's and Hoda's with boyshorts- either in matching/coordinating color or nude. I've seen a couple with sewn in lycra mini skirts. The boyshorts seemed more secure.
