Thread: Looking for this type of fringe applique!!

This is a bra and belt/skirt from a costume thats in the swap meet but out of my price range and also would not fit me.http://www.bhuz.com/forum/bellydance...ics-added.html Scroll down to second set of photos to see the shine on the appliques. I find the full costume to be strikingly beautiful and I would like to at some point make something similar as in the same color and with similar appliques but Ive searched and searched and come up with only these, very similar appliques but they are headpieces..c::https://horusandisis.com/bellydance/...plique&x=0&y=0 They are extremely similar but only have one length of fringe ( 6 inches) What I love about them is how dense and shiny the beaded fringe is, thats very unusual for fringed appliques .......

you can order just the appliques and fringe if you like. just email them. if you have time to wait, they can custom make any color combo you need. they are very nice people to work with.

As you are in NYC, you might want to hit the Garment District and check out some of the fabric / applique / bead stores. I know here in LA, they are all over the place and there are lots of things that will cover what you are looking for. And then there are all those things which will want to follow you home. . .
