how do I make this bra fit?
http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._2410535_n.jpg
I was trying to sell, because the bra is just to small without losing 40lbs... which I could certainly stand to do, but it's still just a bit small looking. I should have ordered it bigger instead of buying the model Dahlal had. Any suggestions for making this fit me? I just adore the skirt and the color.... but if the top looks like crap.......cr.:..cr.:..cr.:
Any help is appreciated.

I get an "Access Denied" message when I try to view the photo. Can you recheck the link to make sure it's working?

Re: how do I make this bra fit?
Well, sadly, I gained back too much weight, and though I can still get it closed, it's not comfortable. THE REAL PROBLEM is that the underwire on the outer sides of the cups land about an inch too far to the center. I have a broad ribcage, and even in the pic, it was not quite right. I can sew some, and I have a seamstress who can help me, but I wanted as much input as I could find.
Thanks ladies.

It looks fine in the photos, but if it needs to be broader accross the front, have your seamstress seperate the cups at the center and put a longer piece in there. It can then be beaded and diguised if needed. Sometimes these bras will have a piece in the middle that's big enough that all you need to do is seperate it from the cups, move them further apart and then re-sew.

Re: how do I make this bra fit?
Well I'm into that part, and there is NO room to let it out. It was easy to get to, and would be easy to let out if there was any overlap, but it's right at the edge. So I'm looking at either adding a bigger piece there, and then using a matching chiffon as the ruffles on the skirt to just add a little to the top of the cups for coverage, and then run it down the center to disguise what was removed. I don't think I have any fabric that will match the costume exactly to make it look right. The other option is to do it like the noussa's I've seen.... use two or three strips of fabric(covered heavy duty stuff) but then make an applique to match the costume and dangle that from the center of the bra. Did that make sense? Any opinions?

You could possible join the cups with a wedge of high density elastic that will give you the exact amount of room that you body needs on any particular day. To cover it up, you could just make a few strings of beads and whack a nice big fat crystal over the top. By making it different and not trying to copy, it will actually look better.
