Thread: I want to dye my hair

I'm feeling like a change would be nice. I am thinking of going dramatic and dying my hair a light warm brown. I have naturally dark blonde hair, so it's only going one step (well, unless you count my highlights). If bhuz says no, then I shall return to my semi-regular scheduled highlights.

My instinct is for you to have lighter highlights put in around your face. I think darker would work and might make your eyes pop out more? Sorry for the wishy washy answer!

Also, something that could help you make your mind is going to a wig store and try good quality examples of wigs in the shades that interest you.

I agree with Lylagus. Maybe a warm medium brown, with caramel highlights?

I like the first pic best and I really think you suit your hair blonde! Mines blonde too and I've had a few brown lowlights put through it to break up the bondeness, works well, gives it a bit of a different look while still saying blonde, you could try something like that for a change but really honestly I think you look fantastic as a blonde and I wouldnt change!

The coppery/brownie with highlights is HUGELY flattering, the blond looks kind of ordinary and doesn't do you justice.

You look great in both looks!

For what it's worth--I would love you in red! Not copper penny, but a nice light auburn. Gorgeous with your coloring and your eyes would POP!

I really like the colour in the second thumbnail.

The darker colour seems to frame your pretty face a bit more and make it pop. You'd be able to get away with some super dark eyes too.

Speaking as a blondie who occasionally flirts with chocolate foils but has yet to find the guts to go all the way.

I love to change my hair color! Also love wigs & hairpieces for performance. I envy gals whose natural hair is full & nice, but c'est la vie.
If you are not sure, go less dramatic - the pic on the left. It's more worrisome if you are not used to dying your hair. You can always work your way to darker. My preference is for darker coppery one though, I like boldness myself.
