Thread: Gorgeous sequin belly stocking!

Hello everyone, I haven't been on bhuz for years but couldn't keep this a secret!
I've just bought the most amazing bodystocking to match my costume. It's made of power mesh so it's really flattering on the figure but has sequins stuck all over it as well, it's utterly gorgeous it's nude coloured so it actually looks like they are stuck to my skin. I absolutely adore it, I'm getting a glitter one too, ordered it just now, the last one was here next day so I expect this one will be here tomorrow, I can't wait! They sent some swatches with my first one completely free. They have like 20 different skin colours and every other colour you can imagine, although they're not all on the site but if you ask they seem to do everything. I'm gonna have to get one to match every costume I own, now I've seen how good my tummy looks I don't want to go without any more!
It's an English company and they are all made there down in Cornwall I think.

I've tried to make things like this. Let's just say I am now willing to spend good money on one!!

I checked the website and ebay link, wasn't able to locate the 2 pictured above. Does anyone have any further details? Our group are interested in info re those to create a fresh new look for bedlah.

I'll email them and ask, I'll see if they've sent the glitter one yet too. ..g.:They always write straight back, they must be getting fed up with me I keep asking questions! ,f:: I had a swatch of that red fabric in with my stocking, it's REALLY nice. Stretches every which way and is soooo pretty. The stores only been open a couple of days, it says on the homepage they haven't put everything in the shop yet, they do 40 different colours so there's lots more to look forward to! ..g.: I can see a serious addiction coming on...

I'm so glad you shared this with us. Several months ago, I was looking for a glam-yet-covered look for a corporate gig. If I knew about these body stockings back then, I would have been so happy!

The one with the design on the front is available in any of the styles or colours and they have them there with gold, pink or clear stones. Too much choice!!! Help, I don't know what I want now! I guess clear will go with anything ..c::
The red one is apparently limited stock whatever that means...?

I pin my skirt to the built in briefs just to be on the safe side, but the briefs are in the same location as regular low-rise underwear on me so they have little chance of showing. The seams are on the sides of the ones I have. I have some from this company and some from See-fit, I think. They look the same to me in construction.

I love that old-school look mahsati rocks in the red costume - colored midriff and showing some leg a la Souheir Zaki. It's a great look! But I'm enamored of Golden Era Egyptian belly dancing anyway.

I tend to have a really good eye/memory for color, but I've also been really fortunate to get ones that I can coordinate well most of the time. I have also requested swatches from companies before when I have something specific to match if I am feeling unsure about their images. A trick is to take the images a seller is using into photoshop to correct for lighting and tint to get a better idea of the true colors :)

My glitter one has arrived. Really pleased and I got more free swatches with it, I wish they'd stop doing that because they all seem to match my costumes perfectly ,f:: typical! I might have to have a hot pink one as well now ,r:;
The one that came this morning is a thong one, I thought I'd get one of each. The other is really handy as it has poppers but I thought I'd get a thong so I can wear it with my stretchy pants for practice too, no VPL's! It's actually really comfy and soooooo sparkly!

You know what I was thinking? There's this costume I've seen Jillina in and I thought her stocking was part of her costume because it had long sleeves. Has anyone seen pics of her wearing that long sleeve brown stocking with a brown costume? It's gorgeous!! I looked to see if they have them in long sleeve, but there's nothing on the long sleeve pages. Celestial Maiden, have they given you any info on their complete line since you've already done business with them? Have they mentioned anything about long sleeve ones?

Btw, which do you think is nicer, glitter or sequin? :) I want both haha

This is exactly the kind of thing I am looking for. Wow. I wish the US dollar wasn't crap against the pound! But even so, this is such a relatively cheap solution for turning those two-pieces into an beledi dress! Or hiding a poochy tummy...

heh heh I've been looking for sequinned body stockings for YEARS, I'll have to stalk the site.

Just ordered a sequined body stocking from Belly Dance Direct. But, I am afraid that I may have ordered the wrong size. I ordered a medium and may have needed a large. Has anyone had trouble converting the UK size to US size?
