Thread: my new love for now...eman!

Ok so I have never officially owned a custum eman zaki. I have had a few here and there but I just got "vineyard vixen" and "dreams of araby" custum orders from Dahlal. I can't even say how just gorgeous they are and they fit like a glove! I was a little skeptical about the clear straps but they are comfortable and look kinda cool....I'm just overly happy and pleasantly suprised with them!
Now to just figure out how to move the hooks on the clear straps......c::

Chiming in on the Eman love :) I recently discovered her costumes and I absolutely adore them! Great fit, original ideas, and super flattering costumes. Eman and her sister are total design geniuses, and sweethearts as well. *gush*

Eman is consistently my favourite designer - I'd wear pretty much most of her designs I've seen. I'm going to her studio in Cairo in a few weeks and I will really have to restrain myself!

Here is a couple of pics of my vinyard vixen. I had the skirt made similar to the "dreams of araby" one since its more flattering on my body type. They are so- comfy and light I just love em!

i'm on the zaki bandwagon as well, my most recent eman is an awesome gold metal mesh confection, and a gorgeous blue hoda i FINALLY broke out of layaway...very classic and move amazingly!

Once I figured out how to fix the Dina bras to look better on me, I bought 2 of them to mix up the look of my "bedlah and circle skirt only" collection. The skirts look like they are simple trumpet-style, but are so much more amazing. The way she puts them together gives the swish of a circle skirt but keeps the curve hugging aspect of lycra. LOVE THEM!

I also second the clear plastic thumbs up. I got a Champagne Sensation and it is really comfortable to wear and looks neat on stage. For up close restaurants I add some bead swags for a more modest look.

Yeah I must admit I was a little nervous about the "DIna bra" with the clear strap thing since I am a D-cup. But I tried one on at a local workshop and it fit better than anything i had before. I was just amazed a tthat and how comfy those clear straps were. I had Eman make the skirt trumpet style (like the dreams of araby one) with a "V' top since that is more flattering for my body type. THe fabric she used is so light and breathable they are just great to move in!
