The coconut-boob: what we're barely putting up with this season...
I'm looking at the new Raqia Hassans and the latest irritating trend that's infiltrating the designer costume scene is this:
RAQIA HASSAN COSTUMES
Raqia Hassan happens to be a little more egregious about it than the others (yet...), but jeez...look at the million lightyears of space between her knockers. I can't help but think...that will be out of style in like fifteen minutes. It's the over-the-knee boots of the bellysphere.
Don't get me wrong...I could actually sort of meagerly pull off that look due to the fact that I have no rack to support, but I'm feeling for my ample-boobed sisters out there that would basically appear to be wearing pasties connected by a back strap if they donned that thing.
Sometimes I look at fashion trends and I think, "The designers are clearly making fun of us."

That's the Cairo Fashion Victim look going out of style as we speak!

Anbody ever made bread in a too small bowl and walked away from the rising dough in a too warm room?

Is the coconut boob allusion to the bra or the boobs? Coz, you'd have to have boobs as firm and round as coconuts to keep 'em in this bra style. Strictly for 17 year olds who've had no kids. Mine would look like the Quatermass Experiment in this baby.

Has anyone ever seen one of these bras on anyone in real life? I haven't, only seen'em in pictures (where one doesn't have to be dancing, just look like dancing) and only on fake tata's that don't move anyway. How do they look in action, on real movable, boobs?

I cannot imagine the context in which I would be able to pay attention to the dancer's dancing instead of what the costume was or was not doing.

God, I hate the Dina bras with a passion. Don't even get me started on the coconut boob. I have very nice tatas. A very full C cup that sit rather close together. If I ever tried a Dina bra, it would be pornographic. Don't anyone here let me do it. It would be bad, bad, bad.

Despite the coconut-boob bra, and the "liquid metal" spandex that has apparently been unearthed in great quantities from a mysterious time capsule from 1984, this costume really is beautiful. It's unfortunate that there's a huge screaming vagina on the front of the skirt:

The model, however, could sell anything. Everything looks good on this girl. I don't know who she is, but she's gorgeous. And she makes me want the Screaming Vag.

It does appear that the space between the cups is widening. I wouldn't be able to wear one of them, but I wouldn't want to anyway--something about them is triggering a subliminal memory of Tori Spelling on "Beverly Hills 90210" circa 1995.
Actually I'm wondering what they were smoking when they cooked up this costume. It's a lovely color and some of the design elements are pretty but the asymmetrical nipple targets, rectal sphincter rendered in sequins, and visible jockey shorts aren't working for me.

The mismatched nipple targets and weird chewed cup edge make her tatas look lopsided. Not good.

Whoa! Cockeyed nipples and the bunghole. Sweet! Raqia, I know that belly dancers fart out glitter and poop out rose blossoms, but embellishing the anus with sequins seems a bit over the top.
Beautiful Model Girl, I'm sorry you have to put up with this.

I've not seen one of the the Raqia bras in person yet, but I tried on a Sahar with a similar shape and it looked AMAZING on me. Seriously amazing (after I had help getting the thing on properly, lol). And I am an A- in bra size ;-)
I will actually be tempted to try this one on next time I am at the shop:

Weird thing is that I hated this style when I first saw it. . . but dang, a select few of these are really growing on me. lol

Yeah, the Raqia bras seem to have waaaay too much space between the cups. Also, I'm not really a fan of most of her designs - and the quality seems to vary greatly on them.
I love the Sahar and Eman dina style cups though - and I think they look good on me and I'm a D or DD! I will have to find some recent photos of me in an Eman dina style cups.

I also like to call this look, and other looks where the bra is too small, "Too little butter over too much bread!"
Kitty is the beautiful model for these cossies - she's a bhuzzer too, if I recall. She could sell me a snowcone during a blizzard, she looks so great in these!

As a busty girl I've tried that busk look and looked very much like those bridal photos where the brides boobs are hanging out. admittedly I think it was to small ;-)

The designs on the cups of this bra remind me of diagrams from my cellular biology textbook. ..l;,

Those squiggly lines totally look like endoplasmic reticulum. Wonder what those oblong shapes are. Mitochondria? .w.:
Maybe this is one reason why the world is better off for my decision to remain childfree. If I had kids, all of their science projects would be made of glitterdot scraps and sequins

There is one new one that looks like sperm swimming away in opposite directions. I think they are supposed to be hearts! And all of the are b/c cups. What about the rest of us! I want my boobs to look miles apart too!

I think that turquoise one is straight from a mitosis slide. Or maybe teleophase, it's been a long time since basic biology.

One would seriously be better off visiting their local "Candy Shop" where the women who work at Delilah's Den get their work gear. You would spend a lot less money for the equivalent or slightly better looking costumes. And we're not kidding anybody that these barely "cover" the essentials, for those who are scoffing at the stripper dress idea.

Yup, it's got to be mitochondria (http://www.nsf.gov/news/overviews/bi...interact08.jpg) and one of the stages of mitosis (http://academic.brooklyn.cuny.edu/bi...gy/mitosis.jpg).
