Thread: Thinking of selling one of these red costumes? Opinions!?

Dilemma - I have 2 red costumes, probably don't need both, although they are different. they each have issues fitting my body (see below).

Which if any, should I sell? and is there interest out there? both the same price $300 min

(1) I just bought this one from Erikaveils, Red Hanan costume for shorties. It is very figure flattering. It has a very pretty fish tail in the back.

Erika measured length about 31" in the front and 32" in back
I remeasured and it's 36", at minimum 2" too long for me

She mentioned that the bra would fit an A or B cup rip cage is 32-34'.
I remeasured and it 7" (dipped in 8") x 5" (dipped in 6"), with lots of padding I can make it work, I'd say this is a C cup, maybe a D

Here is Erika is the costume, although for these purposes I should take a pic of me

(2) I call this my "fire" Nar. It was my troupe leader's and was my first "professional" costume, I love it, but have not found the right skirt to wear with it and the belt is way too big, there's elastic on the entire back portion and it gaps on my upper hip, so wearing circle skirts does not work cause usually i have to roll them and then it doesn't lay flat. and of course the cups are way padded.

They are both beautiful. And I generally love the "old-school" fringey bedlahs. But given that the "fire" costume doesn't fit that well, if it were me, I'd be tempted to let that one go and keep the other one. You can have it hemmed or wear dance shoes with heels.

I think they are both lovely, but you may be happier selling both for a knockout red costume! If you sell both for $300, then you would have $600 to buy a brand new beauty.

Good idea! Just so you know, I emailed Hanan and was quoted $300 plus postage for a design I wanted, so you could definitely order a new costume from her.

If that first red one was longer, I would say sell it... TO ME! Too bad I'm too tall for it.

I will admit, I'm not sure of her website/contact info.

I think at one time you were looking at my red Eman (which is too small for me). Maybe we could workout some kind of swap for the Hanan.
