Lip stain
I need a good (real) lip stain. My friend has one that she bought online, but she can't remember where and the label is rubbed off. It is awesome and the color flatters just about everyone.
Since I used hers I've been looking. ELF is crap and Cover Girl has a new one that is DISGUSTING.
Any other brands that you can think of?

Re: Lip stain
I have several lip stains that I really enjoy.
Three Custom Color Specialists make a great lip/cheek stain in several colors. I am a big fan of Ski Bunny, Mom on the Go and there's one other shade that's escaping me right now . . . wait! It's called Marry Me or something like that.
The Body Shop has a great lip stain that also comes with a pearly gloss.
MAC's Lip Stains are fab! I have a plum and a red that I absolutely love.
But my favorite ever? Lipstick Queen Medieval. If I ever have to be without it, I might seriously go postal.

Re: Lip stain
I use Revlon colorstay overtime for performing, but it dries my lips out too much for everyday use. It does stay put until scrubbed off.

Re: Lip stain
I have a cover girl one. It stays on really well (it's also a pain to get off too), but the color is WAY too dark for me, and the application sucks (I'm really bad at painting it on my lips). Maybe if I had a lighter color it would work, but otherwise, I'm not recommending it.

Re: Lip stain
I've never liked Benetint. It's too watery for me and it doesn't show up well on my brown skin.

Re: Lip stain
Stila lip rouge. A true stain in a "magic marker"-like pen.

Re: Lip stain
The ABSOLUTE best lip stain is Senegence and I deal with Melanie Forrest - website "sensemakeup.com" who has been on Oprah. This Lipstain is kiss proof and lasts so long. Never ever will you have lipstick on your teeth. I have been using it now for about five years. It may be a bit expensive but it lasts much longer than a lipstick - I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Lip stain
I just got done researching this exact subject and watched some You Tube reviews... Decided on a highly recomended lip stain called Medieval by Lipstick Queen.
It is the first "red" that is not scary on me and is lovely and smooth. I just got it today and am in LOVE with it!!

Re: Lip stain
I adore medieval too, and have recommended it to friends who also adore it. Anyone who is dipping a toe into the world of red should try this, or even people like me who love serious red lipstick but want a softer alternative at times. However, I wouldn't call it a stain, as the consistency is like a lipbalm to me, and it wouldn't wear through eating, kissing etc on me.

Re: Lip stain
I love Benetint. It works well for me on cheeks and lips. It's a rather reddish colour, depending on how much you apply you can go sheer or dark.
They have a rosy tone (posy? or something like that) too. Have not tried that one.
