Thread: Kat Von D *Painted Love* Lipstick - anyone tried it?

Has anyone tried lipstick from Kat Von D? I looked online and thought the colors looked intense; plus the reviews were good. I want any feedback you can offer. $18 is a lot for a tube of lipstick... but so is $7 if you don't even like it!

If not this brand, please tell me your favorite bold or dark (intense) lipstick. Thanks!

I have one, it is a darker, burgundy color. I really like it. I would definitely say it is intense. It has a very creamy texture, and I don't find it drying at all. I usually wear this for performances, and I always get so many compliments.

I haven't tried the Kat Von D lipstick, but my favorite bold red is NARS' Lizard Red

I've tried it and love it. In fact, I was wearing Hellbent the other day! I'm also a fan of her eyeshadow palettes and use them quite often when I'm performing. Not to mention that I have both her fragrances: Saint and Sinner.

Not too much a fan of her lipglosses, though.

I have Rosary which is a dark burgundy. The color is lovely, but it smears like crazy even with a lip liner. I have to wear it over a matte lipstick if I don't want it on my chin in 10 minutes!
