Need Advice on applying false lashes!
PLEASE share any useful tips you may have for applying false lashes. I love the way they look but struggle with getting them on properly. I think I am applying them at the wrong angle.
I've seen a tool that looks a bit like an eyelash curler that is for applying lashes, but I have no idea if it would actually help.
Thanks ladies!Last edited by Kristi; 03-02-2010 at 10:15 AM. Reason: different wording

Re: Need Advice on applying false lashes!
Okay, I did do a search before posting this thread, but did not find an existing thread on the subject until after starting my own.
Here is the earlier thread for anyone interested :http://www.bhuz.com/forum/belly-danc...eyelashes.htmlLast edited by Kristi; 03-02-2010 at 10:19 AM. Reason: spelling error

I've heard tweezers are useful, but I've had no luck even with them!

Re: Need Advice on applying false lashes!
After I apply the glue, I hold the lash by the ends so that it curves...I let the glue dry just a little bit then apply it. I find that it is so much easier to get on my eye since it is not so straight across.

Re: Need Advice on applying false lashes!
I love falsies!
I think the most important thing is to make sure they fit. My eyes are just a bit smaller than most lashes so I trim a few hairs from the inner corner. Then bend them around a bit so that the curve to your eye easier. Use a fairly small amount of glue. I apply the glue to one lash, set it aside, apply the glue to the second lash, set it aside. Then put the first eye lash on, then the second. The time in between gives the glue a chance to get tacky so it adheres well. I usually place them at the middle first then lay the corners down.
It takes practice, but it's worth it! Good luck!
