Burgundy belly cover
I would like to find a burgundy belly cover, and I would much prefer to not have to dye a white/beige one. None of the usual suspects lists burgundy, and in fact, I do not recall ever having seen burgundy. Did I miss a supplier who has burgundy in stock?

Re: Burgundy belly cover
a friend of mine ordered one from sugar petals about 4 years ago. I guess they don't stock that color anymore....

Re: Burgundy belly cover
How close would this red metallic (bottom of page) be to the color you want? It doesn't look like it has any purple undertone to it, but it's not tomato red, either. Body Stockings - The Comfortable Body Stocking designed by Janie Midgley

Re: Burgundy belly cover
Ah thanks. Yeah, I saw the red metallic, but I don't think that hue is going to work, sadly. Neither the shininess nor the black base match my costumes or my skin coloring. A burgundy Sugar Petals would be ideal, indeed. I need time travel ;-)

Could you get burgundy tights and make one from those?

Flamenco Diva Designs
I ordered a black one from her and I love it, she can match a fabric swatch if you need an exact match. I ordered from her and found out I was located very close to her and she let me come over and try on two different sizes. I ended up with one 2 sizes smaller than what matched my measurements. She is very nice, I'd email her and find out what she can get

For bellynets in unusual colors, I keep promising myself I'm going to try either the crochet bodystocking or the camisole fishnet mini from here:

A friend swears by their tights for daywear. I've never ordered from them myself, but they offer upwards of 50 colors and some inexpensive, adaptable-looking styles, so I think it could be worth an experiment.

Oh, thanks a lot! That sounds great. (Bad news for my credit card, though.)

Re: Burgundy belly cover
I initially ordered the one that fit my measurements and she talked me into a smaller size, then when I tried them on the one 2 sizes smaller actually fit better. The XL I tried on fit, but there was some sagging right under my ribs. The next size down didn't have that problem. They have clear plastic straps so you don't have to mess with hooks on the bra which I really liked.
PS. Tell her Alecia sent you
