where to buy "string" of rhinestones?

I need to replace a bunch of the rhinestones on a few cosumes. I'm looking for the pharonics type of "string", they are bendable to a certain extent and look like individual rhinestones but they are attached by metal underneath, like a necklace, or even a large ring.

    Did I explain this correctly?

If you go to NYC you can shop any of the trim stores in the garment district. It's usually cheaper then buying online.

SS18 is the most popular size, it is approximately 4.2mm. Higher numbers are larger sizes. Since they sell all of the sizes (except for the largest SS29) for the same price you get the biggest stones per money by buying SS18.

I feel so out of touch with NYC now that I'm not working there anymore. Where abouts Tanya? Any store better? I need to make a trip in one day.

38th-36th streets walk around between 8th and 6th avenue. Tons of fabric shops, trim shops, and bead stores. The garment district is an amazing place

Plus you can haggle prices down if you know how to play your cards right.

You can also find them at fabric stores like Joanne's in the trim/fringe section.

Hiya: there are a couple of local places you might like to check out. there's Fabricville in Wachung Plaza in Montclair, NJ and another Fabric store on Central Ave. in Orange, NJ. They both have them by the yard in singular or multiple rows.

What you need is rhinestone chain. Sounds wrong, but it's like all the stones sit on a flat metal bit, and yes, it does bend easily. You can get it in several stores on ebay, by the yard.
Make sure you get the right size!
