Thread: Moroccan argan oil at Sally Beauty?

Anybody tried this:
One 'N Only - One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment

I can't afford the expensive stuff so I was wondering how this is. The Makeup Alley reviews are pretty good.

Also I'm wondering if how it will do in my typical Caucasian, fluffy, fine textured, non-coarse hair? Do oil products like this ever do well in that type hair, or are they pretty much too heavy for it?

I haven't tried either the cheap or the expensive argan oil, but I LOVE Aquage's Silkening Oil Treatment, which contains argan oil. At $30, it's right down the middle, price-wise. Works wonders on my weird horse-tail hair. And a little goes a LONG way:

Hm, I might have to try this myself. I expect my coarse, thick hair will drink it right up, though I notice the Argan oil is a bit down the list of ingredients in this product.

I use it and love it! My hair is curly and it helps w/o leaving it feel oily. I also use it on my rough heels. Wish I had found this years ago.

What's the difference between the stuff that is at Sally's and this (other than the price)?

The stuff at sally's is a serum. A serum is something that can be used a heat protectant or for shine. This serum contains heat protectants with a little bit of argan oil. so it's not pure argan oil.
The expensive stuff is the pure oil. but pm me you can buy the pure oil for cheaper....
both products are good but serve different purposes...

Not sure about the difference between brands but the one at Sally's is under $10. I think I bought mine for $7.99, I've had it for a several months now and it does go a long way.

i like this stuff MOROCCANOIL - Salon Products - Hair Conditioning Products
but it's pricey. i've had my oil since last may and i have long hair. so it was worth the price.

Argan Oil

This is my source for argan oil. I started buying here a couple years ago. The business is run by a Moroccan man and his American wife. I think they have good products.

Wonder if I could get the expensive stuff, then mix it some with the Sally Beauty stuff, and at least stretch the expensive stuff out to last awhile?
