Thread: Suhaila Scrunchy Pants

Just bought a pair Monday. They arrived today. I tore open the package and put them on. I loooove them.
They are so soft and comfy and cute. Share your impressions!
My thoughts:
1. These will be perfect for teaching. I love the look of melodia-style pants but those crazy flaps just get in the way when teaching & trying to show what's going on below the knees
2. I always end up rolling up my pant legs or tying up my melos, now I just use the scrunchy!
3. How cute and rump-flattering is the little attached mini that can also be scrunched up?
4. Did I mention the ankle scrunchies? Love that, not only can I hike them up for teaching or showing off the graceful curve of my calves (snark), I can let them down for covering up my socks & snowboots--something the open sided melos made look really dorky.
5. I'm only 5'3" and these are the perfect length on me. I wonder how tall chicks feel about the length?
6. Why can't the fashion colors like plum and turquiose be more available. I already want to buy at least 1 more pair!!

I was at Dicks sporting goods last night and they had a Suhaila scrunchy pant knock off. They were selling for $60. I'd rather have the real thing, but I did think it was funny. They were in the Yoga section, and regular legs and only one side of the "skirt" had the drawl string. Let me go see if they are on-line....

They were my FAVORITE pants. I grew out of mine during my pregnancy and sold them. I really want another pair or two!!!

I've been meaning to get a pair, but I'm not sure when that she's sold out of the turquoise. I think last year they ran a sale for Easter so I may hold off until then.

I love mine unreasonably. I've worn and washed them so much that they have holes in them. Time for a new pair!

Yeah I'm fixing to get a couple soon. They're pretty awesome.

I love mine too and will wear them until they fall apart--given I've had them for four years and worn them a lot, they're still happily going strong!

I don't think other scrunchy pants are necessarily a knock-off, though--I think that style has been around in yoga and dance for a while, generally speaking.

now that purple my lucky color (won 2 competitions with purple costumes) I just bought purple scrunchy when I was there...I wish small is little bit smaller but love it....

If you don't mind me asking, what are your upper and lower hip measurements?

I'm in the market for a pair, but I'm afraid that they'll be too big in the upper hip like when I bought Melodias.

Wore my scrunchy pants for the second time tonight, when I un-scrunched the ankles, one of the ankle strings broke and pulled right out. Bad. Bad craftsmanship. Advise--do I return for a new pair or just stich em up and move on?

I liked them (although caution to those with big booties, you'll look enormous in them - I wore them anyway). Unfortunately my scrunchies did not hold up very well either.

If possible, I'd return/exchange for new pair, make sure I got a receipt with the new pair, and then if it broke shortly after return it for money back.

That sucks....... I'd return them for a new pair. Those pants are far to pricey to fall apart so soon.
