Thread: Dahlals 2nd Pharonix Costume Guarantee

Hi Gals-
Just wondering who else is waiting on some costume from Dahlals second costume guarantee. They should be finished any day now (according to the guarantee to be finished by the end of march)

I ordered a Butterfly and an Empress....

What did everyone else order?? Post pics here when you get them ..g.:

Yeah :) They did do another one. Have you signed up for their newsletter??? It was advertised on their website too. Im sure there will be another one done in the future!

I needed a consolation prize for my Audrena situation.
I ordered a black Great Loop, thinking that while black isn't the best color for stage, it does go well with turquoise, pink, purple, red..and I got a red Arabesque skirt to go with it.
Empress - great pick - I love that one.

Bummer...... Maybe email and ask if they are going to be doing another costume guarantee? Ill be sure to post here if I hear any news. Dahlal is also on Facebook and does advertising on there as well :)

So do they call us when its' ready? Email us? March 31st, I believe, is the day they'd be shipped from Egypt - or was that the day they are shipped from missouri?

I emailed Dahlal about a week ago to ask about progress. Here is part of the response:

As far as we know Pharaonics is still on track to send the costumes out sometime this week (Before march 31st). We will let you know as soon as we have notification that the shipment has left Egypt.

I havent had another email yet. If I havent heard back by next week I will email again. Im sure they cant be too far off of leaving Egypt...

I see that it's out for delivery - can't wait! I have a photo shoot at the end of the month and will be glad to have this.

I hope I didn't make a mistake on the color. I got a black Iris great loop, but thought that a black skirt would be too much black, so I got a red skirt with black sequins. Now I'm hoping it looks good and not silly.

OK. So it arrived, but the skirt was wrong. I had ordered an arabesque skirt, length 38". I received a Christina skirt, length 41". And the Christina skirt REALLY doesn't flatter me.

Luckily Dahlal is letting me exchange it. So I have a longer wait but at least I have the bedlah!

I just got my teal empress and extra purple arabesque skirt from bellydance store. Absolutely stunning, but the bra looks like it's a size too small from the measurements (#4 instead of #5) and the arabesque skirt has no sequins on the bottom edge. Not sure whether I'll return them or what. Sigh.

Oh Bummer....... You could see if anyone wants them here on BHUZ. I hope I have mine when I get home tomorrow :)

Yeah, I think I'll just send it back if I decide not to keep it. It'll be the same shipping, anyway! ;)
