Thread: Where Do I Buy Beaded Fringe?

I'm a sewing noob, so please forgive me for asking such a silly question!

But where are your favorite places to buy nice quality pre-strung Egyptian fringe? I just bought a gorgeous green bedlah and want to beef up the fringe!

And if any of you happen to be selling something 4-6" in emerald or apple green....hint, hint

I also order from Horus & Isis, KoTN, and Turquoise Intl usually. I think Cicek Pasaj (sp?) also carries fringe.

I have only ever purchased it from Lucy/Scheherezade Imports (linked above). Great quality!!!!

Turquoise Int. You can cut the fringe main string without the rest coming apart.

I recently ordered some fringe from an eBay vendor located in Egypt. It should arrive any day. I'm curious to see what the quality will be as it was cheaper than any of the sources listed above. I expect to have to tip each strand with glue or something but maybe I will be pleasantly surprised. The order came with two lengths of 40" each, so even if it is sparse and has to be doubled up I should have more than enough. I'm hoping for the best. But I'm an incorrigible bargain hunter. I will let you know how it turns out.

I've gotten alot of stuff on ebay from KOTN and some other vendors. Really nice egyptian type fringe.

Satin, I have a yard of 6" light emerald green fringe with pailettes, it has a subtle iris-y effect to it as well. I ordered it from Horus and Isis but it ended up being the wrong shade for my project. I would be asking $35 including shipping to the US.

I've seen his fringes, ordered by a friend, and they are really nice looking. (She hasn't danced much with it, but it seemd to hold up pretty well the first few times)

I made him an offer on the fringe, and he took it, so there's some room for negotiation. I also asked if he could make colors not listed on request, and he said yes.

I bought the bright emerald green fringe - I'm expecting great things based on the quality of product my friend got from him. (Should arrive in a day or two)

Can any one post some European online shops where they sell beaded fringe? Unfortunately it can be very expensive to get something shipped from outside Europe.
I just know about Tabou - Tanz-Boutique - Boppard but they don't have that many different styles and colors.

When I was looking on ebay, I came up with one that had almost the same items on ebay europe. Made me think maybe he had a eurpoean base too? Can't remember the name, but try searching beaded fringe. If it's the same guy, he said he'd do custom combinations on request.

Oh im so glad you posted this thread satin, im also searching for a place to buy fringe since making it by had takes too long and i dont have time this month. If anyone has blue/green combo fringe id be willing to buy. Are you goingot the miami bellydance convention satin?

I haven't ordered any fringe yet, since I might not keep the costume - but if I do need to buy some, I'll let you know how it works out

I'd friggin' LOVE to go to the Miami BD Convention, as well as Aziza's workshop in Orlando in August. I'm definitely heading down to FL from late April through mid-May, so we're gonna have to hang out! ..g.:
