Does anyone know where I can get those full, transparent, flowy harem pants that Sandra wears, with the long slits? I love them SO!!

I'd guess they come from Bella? Just a guess, but I think it's where Sandra does most of her shopping. You could e-mail them and ask?
Good lord that woman is beautiful.

Re: ISO Sandra's Harem pants!
They are easy and cheap to make if you have a sewing machine (or a kind friend with one!). Depending on how baggy and long you want them, get 2.5 to 3 yds of chiffon fabric, matching thread, and elastic for the ankles and waist. There are lots of free and easy instructions on the web for making regular harem pants. When you make them though, don't sew one side of the legs together, just hem each edge.

Re: ISO Sandra's Harem pants!
Thanks Ladies, I have tried making harem pants before and they never look quite this flattering and flowy. I was hoping there might be some alternative sources besides ordering them from Bella?
And yes, Sandra is ridiculously gorgeous, isn't she??

I got a pair from L Rose to wear under a L Rose chiffon skirt - the harems have options on bagginess and slit position. I am happy with mine :)

Re: ISO Sandra's Harem pants!
getting them to look flowey is all about the fabric. which means you might need to spend a little more to get them that way (on the fabric choice and the amount of it)
to get them that full, you'll want to multiply your waist measurement by 3, and that will be how wide the pants should be before being sewn into a waist band.
the slit is an unsewn side seam, but you'll probably want to shift that seam towards the front a little, so that the more full tush is covered and the slit shifts towards the hip bone. that would be done by moving some of the pattern from the front panel to the back (from the side, where it's straight just cut a rectangle off the front panel and tape it to the back before you cut the fabric) so that the back parts are wider than the front.

Re: ISO Sandra's Harem pants!
You like my harem pants ?
thanks!
I've been using the same pattern for about 15 years - it's the Fat Chance Harem pant pattern, which i don't know if you can get anymore, but it calls for 4 yards of fabric (2 yards for each leg) which sounds like an absolutely ridiculous amount, but that's how they looks so flowy, almost like a skirt.
and my favorite fabric is silk chiffon, because it's so light, liek wearing nothing. but unfortunatley, it wrinkles. Polyester chiffon works just as well, but it's a little warmer to dance in. . I just leave the sides of the pants open, all the way from hip to ankle - but center the openings slightly forward on the leg, but my butt doesn't show when i dance.
good luck!
After years of practice, i can make a quick pair in about 40 minutes, cutting and everything.

Laura, I can actually make those....I'm sure Maral could too. I usually use velvet, but can easily use chiffon.

Re: ISO Sandra's Harem pants!
Wow thank you so much for your knowledge ladies, and thanks Sandra for responding personally, your answer really helps! ;)
I just love the old-school look without the old-school frumpiness....you know?
Maybe I should suck it up and try making these again. Or maybe I'll call you Rosanna! :D
Thanks again ladies!
