Help me answer some questions about a costume??

I am just not experienced enough with bedlahs and sizing and costume shapes/etc. I want to give a thorough answer and make sure that if someone buys this, it is going to be right for them. (Especially since I'm selling it because I couldn't surgery it to fit me.)

The link to the costume is here: http://www.bhuz.com/forum/bellydance...tml#post627467

These are the questions. (Also posted in the bottom of the link)

As far as the bra. What I am really, really most concerned about is getting maximum cleavage and the overflow look without a "quadboob" effect. My other concern is that the v cut of the belt will make my hips look even thinner, which I don't want. A third concern is that if the bottom of the belt sits nicely than the top of the belt will stick out--I'm sure you've seen that. A final concern is again bra related--I am a 32D to 32DD to 30F and I am concerned that the band will just be too big.

I think that "quadboob" effect happens when the cup size is too small. What is her cup size? She can get maximum cleavage with some judicious padding along the bottom and outsides of the cups.

If she wants her hips to look wider she can tuck a scarf or the edges of her circle skirt into each side of the belt for maximum hip poofiness and swish.

The clasps on the side of the belt can be staggered rather than lined up, so that the top clasp is tighter than the bottom one, if that makes sense.

She really needs to try on the costume to know for sure but there are tweaks for many fitting problems. Is this costume wired along the edges of the bra and belt? That helps with molding it to the body.

The band is easy to fix. You move the hooks and have a little overlap.

The key to belly dance bras is knowing your measurement and being sure that you have the proper size. That the cups are big enough. And yes, quad boob happens when the cup is not deep enough.

One you have a cup which is deep enough. you can strategically pad for cleavage. Yes, as someone who wears a G cup, I said pad.

No matter what kind of cleavage you want, you still need to have cups that fit. Too big is easier to deal with than too small, because you can pad. Bra shape is also important for cleavage. The bra I just got is plenty big for me, but it has a deep plunge, and is shaped so that it pushes my breasts inward and upward, creating some pretty impressive cleavage.

A 32 D to DD will likely fit into the cup of a 34 C/D. Yes, the band will be too big, but almost all costume bras have a lot of leeway in the band. It's expected that you will have to move the hooks to a position that fits you. I just did this on my new costume bra. I can't really sew, but that's a dead easy operation. You can use binder clips to put the bra on so that it fits right, then move the hooks.
