Tempting. Any buzzers use these Singer models? The reviews on the JoAnns site are mixed, and extreme in either loving or hating the product. I need one, though, and like this price.

I ordered one when they were $99 a couple years ago (plus shipping, of course). Sent it back. Too flimsy for me! And not adjustable for my long torso. Instead I got a Uniquely You dress form ($140 plus shipping) and LOVE it. It's so much more accurate for fitting because you fit the cover to your body, then zip it over the foam base.

I think I would have to pack the foam body with more foam around the hips and butt ..l;,

I have one and I don't like it. I mean it works for basic things, but I can't do any real fitting on it. And Jasani, there is a tutorial on how to pad up your dress forms. And Kiyaana, the model singer that I have does have adjustable torso length...maybe they've changed.

I love my Uniquely You dress form because it is so minutely adjustable to my shape. Let the cover out or take it in to adjust to weight and shape changes. Add a little padding if you need to. I like being able to pin to her, put a bra on her and pad to get my exact shape. And she is soft and yielding so stretchy fabrics give more realistic fit than on hard surface that doesn't give.

I need an durable adjustable form. The only one I know anything about in the US http://www.ronis.com/ProductDetails....ctCode=AD%2D10 has been 'on order' for several weeks. The Singer and Dritz forms don't get high marks for durability or ease of adjustment. Are there other options out there for US customers other than one-size-per-form?

I have found an option. There are dress forms widely available throughout the UK which are said to be much sturdier than My Double. Lady Valet is supposed to be the best, with Diana as second best, and Diana is available from Canada to US customers at CosplaySupplies.com -- Shopping Cart
