    Knee pads?

At least one of the Atlanta workshops suggests wearing knee pads. Where do I find thin ones that would do for a dance workshop?

I believe dancewear solutions sells some, but I've always bought good thing ones from Sports Authority or another sporting goods store... I get the kneepads they sell for volleyball.

    Re: Knee pads?

I ordered some from Dancewear Solutions. I really like them. They are very light and they don't squeeze your legs to death. I tested them out when I did a drop during one performance. They worked out really well because the floor was extremely hard. I was still able to continue my floorwook without any discomfort from the floor or the knee pads.

I hope you are able to find some that you like!

I got mine for $5 at KMart in the exercise dept, not too bulky and they work great for floor-work and drops

    Re: Knee pads?

Oh my gosh! I realized I never got back to you in that last thread with your question. I am so sorry! Grad school sometimes takes over my brain.

Glad they worked out for you.

The skinny pads are definitely not for slamming around on your knees, but are way better to wear under a costume than the huge padded ones!
