Thread: Where to buy lycra?

So I'm working on making a skirt, and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend good online sources of lycra. I'm looking for black 2-way stretch, and I've tried my local fabric stores but can't find the right shade of black.

I've ordered some samples from Spandex World but would love to know what else is out there!

Sew Sassy carries a bigger inventory than they have on their web site sewsassy.com. Apparently they do a lot of their business off sample cards, but the advantage to that is you know for sure if you have a match before investing in yardage.

I've ordered some samples from Spandex House (thanks, Nitewindz!). I'm not having much luck finding black spandex from the other dealers, strangely, but I'll definitely be bookmarking these sites for future projects.
